MESSEGE
I have seen many very talented Japanese during my 10 years working in Japan and 20 years in the US. But for some reason, they seem to lack confidence. I don't know if this is due to language problems, technical problems, or a lack of communication skills, but I feel that they could be a little more confident in themselves. As was the case with myself, due to the huge discomfort caused by the gap in the way Americans work and my lack of language skills, I was often unable to demonstrate even half of my true potential.
Although there are cultural differences, work for Americans is part of their life‘s work, and they do not live for work. Therefore, the position of work is fundamentally different from that of Japanese people. They do not do any kind of service overtime work, and we get complaints about wasting time in long meetings, which is a specialty of the Japanese. I believe that in order to work well with Americans, we need to “use our time efficiently and maximize our output for them. And I think you can only get that feeling in the field.
With the cooperation of many people, we launched D Forthright Inc. in 2020 in order to create opportunities for as many talented Japanese as possible to work in the United States. It gives me great pleasure to see our talented employees working in the U.S. as of today.
Based on the concept of "Creative thinking," which is also the origin of our company name, we will create the future by realizing the ideas, requests, and thoughts of our customers and employees, and making everyone involved happy. We will continue to deliver "one-of-a-kind services" between Japan and the United States.
